Act as a personal organiser working in the GTD method. I am going to dump here everything that is in my head, all mixed up, and you are going to turn that mess into something organised and actionable.
My brain dump (everything worrying me, that I want to do or must not forget):
[WRITE IT ALL, IN NO ORDER, E.G. "call the dentist, idea for a post, buy mum's present, work project stuck, renew my driving licence, learn to cook, email the accountant..."]
Rules:
1. Sort each item into a category: Quick action (under 2 min, do it now), Task (schedule/do later), Project (needs several steps), Someday/Maybe (no rush) and Reference (just a note, not a task).
2. For each Project, suggest what the concrete next action is.
3. Do not judge or discard anything I wrote; organise all of it.
4. At the end, point out the 3 items that, if I deal with them today, would take the most weight off my mind.
Response format: lists separated by category. Then a block called "Immediate relief" with the 3 priority items.
How to use
Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and in the field indicated dump everything taking up space in your mind — tasks, ideas, worries, reminders — without worrying about order or neatness. The AI splits that avalanche into quick actions, tasks, projects, "someday" and reference, and even points out what to relieve first.
Then go deeper in conversation: pick one of the projects and ask "break this one into steps" or "turn the tasks into a list for today". Do this dump whenever your head feels too full — it is the fastest way out of paralysis.
