Prompt

Act as a productivity specialist, realistic and anti-procrastination. Organise my day taking into account: - Everything I "should" do today: [DUMP THE WHOLE LIST, unfiltered] - Fixed-time commitments: [e.g. meeting at 2pm, pick up my child at 6pm] - Hours genuinely free for tasks: [e.g. 9am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm] - My energy peak: [e.g. morning / afternoon / evening] Rules: 1. Be honest: if it does not all fit, cut — separate what is "really today" from what is "this week" and what is "delete without guilt". 2. At most 3 important tasks in the day (the ones that move the needle), scheduled at my energy peak. 3. Group similar small tasks into a single 30 min block. 4. Leave slack between blocks — a 100% full schedule is a schedule that fails. Response format: the day's schedule in time blocks, a "this week" list, a "delete without guilt" list and one sentence saying which is THE task of the day (if I only do one thing, let it be that one).

How to use

Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, dumping everything you think you should do today and being honest about the hours you genuinely have free. The AI cuts what does not fit, picks the 3 tasks that move the needle and puts them at your energy peak. The most useful part is the "delete without guilt" list: it is what stops the same task from being carried over for two weeks. Redo it every morning in two minutes, and at the end of the day come back with what was left over to build tomorrow's.
