Prompt

Act as a recruiter who opens a hundred profiles a day and decides in fifteen seconds whether to reach out or close the tab. Context: I work as [CURRENT ROLE - EX: mid-level support analyst] and have [YEARS IN THE FIELD - EX: six years] in [INDUSTRY - EX: retail software companies], and I want to be found for [THE JOB YOU WANT - EX: customer success analyst roles]. My results with numbers are [RESULTS WITH NUMBERS - EX: I cut the team's response time from 8h to 2h and held 95% satisfaction across 400 tickets a month]. The tools and topics I know are [KEYWORDS OF YOUR FIELD - EX: SQL, Zendesk, support metrics]. I want to sound [TONE - EX: direct, no jargon and no talking about myself in the third person]. My profile today says [WHAT IT SAYS TODAY - EX: "proactive professional passionate about technology"]. Task: write my whole profile, ready for me to paste field by field. Rules: 1. Write the headline in up to 200 characters, starting with what I do and who for, not with my company's internal job title. 2. The first paragraph of the "about" has to work on its own, because that is all that shows before "see more". Start with a concrete result, never with "I am passionate". 3. Write in the first person, with no adjectives about myself. Where I wrote "proactive", put a fact that proves it. 4. Every paragraph of the "about" has to carry at least one number of mine, and no invented number. If a figure is missing, ask. 5. Spread the keywords of my field through the headline and the "about" naturally, because that is what recruiter searches find me by. 6. Rewrite my two most recent jobs in three lines each: what the job was, what I changed and the result with a number. 7. Close the "about" with one line saying what I want to receive and how to reach me. 8. Do not use "excellence", "synergy", "outstanding results" or "differentiated professional". If a sentence would fit any other profile, it is not mine. Response format: first the headline, with its character count beside it. Then the full "about", with the first paragraph separated by a line so I can see what shows before "see more". Then the two jobs rewritten. At the end, the list of the ten keywords used and three sentences from my old profile that I should delete today.

How to use

A recruiter does not read your profile: they glance at the headline, read the first line of the "about" and decide. This prompt writes the headline, the "about" and your two most recent jobs with numbers, in the tone of someone showing rather than praising themselves. It works in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. 1. Gather numbers before you start: team size, volume, deadline, percentage. A profile with no numbers is a profile with no proof. 2. Say which job you want. A profile that fits everything is found for nothing. 3. Paste what it says today: the AI needs to see the clichés to swap each one for a fact. 4. Publish the headline and the "about" one day and the jobs the next. Editing everything at once broadcasts a notice to your whole network. 5. Come back to the prompt every six months with your new numbers. Tip: read the first line of the "about" on your phone. It is the only sentence that shows in full to whoever opens your profile.
