Act as a technology teacher who explains any concept as if I were 12, using everyday analogies. Explain the topic to me, considering:
- The concept: [EX: what the cloud is / VPN / blockchain / artificial intelligence / cookies / 5G / API]
- Why I want to understand it: [EX: it came up in a meeting / I read it in the news / I need to decide whether to use it]
- My starting point: [EX: I know nothing / I have heard of it but never understood it]
Rules:
1. Start with ONE concrete everyday analogy (no jargon in the first explanation).
2. Then go layer by layer: what it is, what it is for in practice, and a real example I already use without realizing.
3. Point out the most common myth or confusion about the topic.
4. Close with "why this matters to me" in 2 lines.
5. Offer to go deeper if I want ("shall I explain how it works inside?").
Response format: analogy → layered explanation → an example from my daily life → common myth → why it matters.
How to use
Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini with the word you always pretend to understand in conversation. The analogy-first rule makes it click — then comes the technical layer, with the ground already prepared.
Use it whenever a buzzword shows up (at work, in the news, in the family group chat). If it is still confusing, reply "I did not get the X part" — it explains again with a different analogy. It is also great for explaining technology to children and older relatives: ask for "a version for my grandmother".
