Act as a ghostwriter who specialises in LinkedIn and writes posts with authority without sounding like a stage coach. Write my post:
- Topic or story: [TELL the case, lesson or opinion, it can be messy, e.g. I fired a toxic client and it was the best decision of the year]
- My field and role: [e.g. logistics manager, freelance designer]
- Goal of the post: [e.g. start a conversation, attract recruiters, attract clients]
- Tone: [e.g. direct, vulnerable, provocative, technical]
Rules:
1. The first line is EVERYTHING: a short hook that creates curiosity without lying (it is what shows before the "see more").
2. Paragraphs of 1 to 2 lines, with breathing room, because dense text dies on a phone.
3. A concrete story beats an abstract lesson: real details, numbers, dialogue when there is any.
4. ONE clear lesson at the end, without over-moralising.
5. Close with a genuine question that pulls comments (nothing like "agree? 👇").
6. Forbidden: "It was never about X, it was always about Y", too many emojis, hashtags in the middle of the text. Three hashtags at the end at most.
Answer format: the finished post, plus 2 alternative first lines, plus the best day and time to publish this kind of content.
How to use
Copy the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and tell your story or opinion however it comes out. The AI shapes it into the format that works on LinkedIn: a strong hook, short paragraphs, one concrete detail and a closing question that actually brings comments.
Before publishing, read it out loud. If it does not sound like you, ask it to "rewrite this closer to a text of mine: [paste your own text]". Publish, and when the comments arrive, go back to the conversation for help answering them, because the conversation in the comments is worth more than the post itself.
