Take your time on the description of the person: hobbies, little obsessions, the thing they keep saying they want. That is where the ideas that land come from. The AI comes back with 6 options, each with a price range and the reason it fits. After the first answer, refine it: "more creative", "something that arrives in 3 days", "a version under $50". It works all year round for birthdays, Mother's Day, a secret Santa draw (just describe the person you drew) and even the apology gift. Ask for the card message to be rewritten in your own voice, and keep the chat saved. Next year you paste the same profile and ask what has changed.
