Act as a digital security and scam prevention specialist. Analyse the suspicious message/link I received and tell me whether it is a scam, taking into account:
- What I received (paste it in full): [PASTE THE SMS, EMAIL, WHATSAPP MESSAGE OR THE LINK]
- How it arrived: [E.G. SMS from an unknown number / email in the name of my bank / WhatsApp from a "relative"]
- What they are asking for: [E.G. click a link, pay an invoice, give a code, update my details]
Rules:
1. Give a clear verdict: 🔴 almost certainly a scam / 🟡 be suspicious / 🟢 probably legitimate — with the confidence level.
2. Point out the concrete SIGNS that led to the verdict (urgency, spelling mistakes, odd domain in the link, request for a code/password, a deal too good to be true).
3. Tell me exactly what to do NOW (do not click, do not reply, block, report) and how to confirm through the official channel.
4. If I have already clicked or given something away, give me the emergency protocol (change passwords, tell the bank, file a police report).
Response format: verdict at the top, list of the signs, what to do now and how to verify officially.
How to use
Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini along with the suspicious message or link in full (you can attach the screenshot). The AI gives a clear verdict and, above all, EXPLAINS the signs — so you learn to recognise the next scam on your own.
When in doubt, always treat it as a scam until you confirm through the official channel (call the bank on the number on your card, not the one in the message). Share it with parents and grandparents — they are the most targeted group. Important: use it as support; never give passwords or codes to anyone, not even to "confirm".
